Kaveri River:

The Kaveri River gets its water from the Brahmagiri range, which is near Cherangla village in Karnataka’s Kodagu district. The place where it began is 1341 m away.

The river goes on for 800 km until it meets the sea. The Western Ghats are to the west of this river, and the Eastern Ghats are to the east. In the south, it is separated from the Krishna River and the Penarna River Basin by narrow hills.

Tungabhadra River:

The Tungabhadra River is a holy river in the South Indian Peninsula. It runs through Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. The city of Hampi is on the southern shore of the river Tungabhadra. The name of this river comes from the fact that it is formed when the Tunga and Bhadra rivers meet. On this river, the Tungabhadra, a huge dam has been built (20 km southwest of Hampi). This dam is also part of the hydropower project.

Penner River:

The Penner River gets its water from the Deccan Plateau, which is 11 km west of Balarpur in the southwest west of Karnataka state in the south-west of India. It flows north into Andhra Pradesh, then southeast toward East Coromandel East, and finally meets the Bay of Bengal near Nellore. Their rivers are Papadhan and Chitravati. In its lower valley, water is brought in through pipes. It’s about 560 km from the top of the mountain to the bottom. In the summer, this river’s edge gets very thin, and it rises after it rains.

Kali River:

The Kali River, which is also called Kalindi, is the source. A small town called Diggi is where this river comes from. It feeds about 4 lakh people. In order to make power from the Kali river, several dams have been built. There are several dams on this river, but the Soma dam in Ganeshgudi is the most well-known.

Palar River:

The Palar River comes from the Kolar area in Karnataka state and flows into Tamil Nadu. It comes from a place in the Kolar area called Nandigur. The path goes southeast from Kaivara and ends at Boringpath place in Mysore. Next, it turned northeast in the Northern Arcadoo district of the state of Madras. It then fell into the Bay of Bengal in the Chengalpattu district, which is south of Madras.

Malprabha River is in Kanchipuram, 16.9 km (9.9 m) from Jambati village in Karnataka. It flows through Khanpur village, which is in the Sahyadri mountain range and is 792.4 meters (2,600 feet) above sea level. Malaprabha comes from an old temple that was built for Mr. Mauli Devi.

Mandovi River:

The Mandovi River is the source of this water. It is 77 km long, with 29 km flowing through Karnataka and 52 km flowing through Goa. The source of this river is a group of thirty gold springs in the Western Ghats, in the district of Belgaum in the Indian state of Karnataka. The river serves an area of 2032 sq km in Karnataka and 1580 sq km in Goa. It has the Dudhsagar Falls and the Vajrapoha Falls.

Netravati River:

Two states in India share the Netravati River. The Nethravati River starts in the Varah Mountain, which is 9 miles from Sringeri. It runs down from Shringangiri to the west sea, where it flows toward Mangalore. The well-known southern religious site is 45 miles from Mangalore. It is on the banks of the holy river Netravali.

Tungas:

The Tungas are one of Karnataka’s most important rivers. This river flows for 147 km. The Western Ghat is where the river came from. Two parts of Karnataka are crossed by the river. In Andhra Pradesh, this river joins the Krishna River.
